Information from Third-Party Sources
We aggregate publicly available tournament information from third-party sources to help you discover events. This includes:
- Tournament listings from organizations like NCS, Perfect Game, Triple Crown, and others
- Publicly available team information for discovery purposes
This information is collected from publicly accessible websites and is used to provide a comprehensive tournament directory. We clearly attribute external tournaments to their original source.
AI Processing
We use artificial intelligence (AI) services to process and normalize tournament data, extract relevant information from websites, and improve data quality. This processing helps us provide accurate and consistent information. AI processing is performed on publicly available data and does not involve your personal account information.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our platform services
- Authenticate your account and manage your sessions
- Enable you to create and manage teams, games, tournaments, tryouts, and organizations
- Connect you with other teams for scheduling games
- Display tournament and tryout listings to help you find events
- Facilitate responses to your game requests from interested teams
- Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
- Send you important updates about your account, games, and inquiries via email and/or SMS
- Process referral invitations you send to other users
- Improve our platform and develop new features
- Respond to your feedback and support requests
SMS and Email Communications
We use your phone number and email address to send you notifications about your account activity:
- SMS notifications: Game schedules, proposals, reminders, and account verification codes
- Email notifications: Game schedules, proposals, reminders, and account updates
Your choices: You can control your notification preferences in your account settings. For each notification type, you can choose to receive notifications via email, SMS, both, or none. You can also reply STOP to any SMS message to opt out of text notifications.
Service providers: SMS messages are sent through Twilio. Your phone number is shared with Twilio solely for the purpose of delivering messages. Email messages are sent through Resend.
Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS messages. Message frequency varies based on your activity.
Information Sharing
We may share your information:
- With other users: Team information, game requests, tournaments, and tryouts are visible to other users to facilitate scheduling and discovery
- With game request respondents: When someone responds to your game request, you receive their contact information
- With service providers: We use third-party services including Stripe for payments, Google Maps for location services, and Anthropic for AI processing
- For legal reasons: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
- With your consent: When you authorize us to share your information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Unclaimed Teams
We may display publicly available team information to help users discover teams in their area. These "unclaimed" team listings contain only publicly available information. If you are a team manager and see your team listed, you can claim it to take control of the listing and update the information.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes encrypted connections, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Request removal of unclaimed team listings that contain your information
Children's Privacy
GameDay Finder is intended for use by team managers and coordinators who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. While our platform is used to manage youth baseball teams, accounts should only be created and managed by adults.
